WELCOME!
The PCA welcomes you and your family to Virginia Beach for the 39th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America.
General Assembly is our one annual denomination-wide gathering of PCA teaching and ruling elders, their families, and visitors. Our primary focus as commissioners is ecclesiastical business, reviewing the ministries of our denomination over the past year, preparing for future ministries, and dealing with significant theological issues. But we also assemble for worship, fellowship, training, and networking, all of which are significant in the life of the Church.
Please pray that as an Assembly we will deal with the matters before us in ways that are biblically based and honoring to the Lord so that we may live up to our guiding principle to be “Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.”
As we work, worship, and fellowship, may we be encouraged to sing and make melody in our hearts – and together – to the Lord.
